“ I have been a fan of Steve’s for nearly 40 years. Both his talents as singer & songwriter stand out. I wish I could write songs as well as Steve Romig.” Mike Brady.

Mike recorded a version of Steve’s song "The Mistress”

John Farnham has recorded 2 of Steve’s songs. Take You Back, written with Frank Sablotny, and Sometimes, which John said was his favourite song on The Last Time tour.

Because of Way Down Homeless Blues, Russell Morris, who was introduced to the song by Jim Keays, started to think an Australian could do the blues justice and recorded Sharkmouth, an album that went to number one and won him an ARIA for blues album of the year.  Steve sang the backing vocals on it.

Steve will be joined on stage by his son, Ernest Aines, and people he regards as family. Mike Brady, Sarah MacLaine, Roger MacLachlan and Ronnie Peers for this acoustic retrospective of a body of work that spans over a lifetime.
